Piano Voicing

The voicing of the piano can be compared to painting a picture. I will make your piano sound the way you like which is a process that is similar to choosing colors for the painting. Choose between open, bright and warm sound. Some players like the "bright" sound while the others prefer a mellow tone. With time, the hammer felt ages and hardens giving the piano a somewhat "brighter" and uneven sound. Depending on your taste and piano, I can make the sound evenly "bright" or evenly mellow or in between.

It is recommended to voice the piano every 3 to 4 years. This will maintain the voicing and support a regular yearly tuning. A full voicing is recommended after fine tuning your piano, reshaping the hammers, and regulation.
